Changing Your Address is easy and can be done online! With the USPS the process is easy to understand! Go to the USPS website and fill out a Change of Address Form and your address Change will begin!.

Here are the Steps:

1. Indicate whether the move is permanent or temporary (under twelve months).

2. Your full name and the names of your family if they are moving for you. You will need to fill out a separate form for each person with a different last name.

3. A debit or credit card is required to pay the fee associated with changing or updating your address. This fee helps pay for the process and verify your address. You can avoid the verification fee if you go to your local post office and fill out the COA, although filling out the form in person often takes longer.

You may also change your address in these ways:

Request the form by phone. You can contact your local post office and request a 3575 form to be mailed to you. The number for USPS is 1-800-275-8777. You will have to pay the verification fee if you choose to change your address over the telephone.

OR

Fill out the form in person. Visit your nearest post office and request a 3575 form. By going into the post office, you will avoid paying the service fee that is required for telephone and online conveniences.
